End of music downloads?!?!

REALLY?!?!

Maybe it will happen. Then sales will dip, somebody will come up with the "amazing" idea of making downloads available again (maybe in some fancy new form, but downloads nonetheless) and make a trillion bucks.

Money, money, money... It was never about the music.

The iPod fixed the problem of carrying all the music with you. Now they want to kill the idea by forcing you to: 1) Pay for rented music, 2) Pay for a device that holds the access to that rented music, 3) Pay for the internet service to be able to even listen to music.

The problems were solved, they have tons of money, now they "break" the solutions up so they can charge for "fixing" them.

How awesome is economics right? It makes you think you can fool everyone but then the human condition happens and everything goes kaput.

If Apple caves to greed, it will go down and it wouldn't be even the first time it happens to it or any other media company. They dig their own graves.
